The stock Bridgestone S21 tires on the 2021+ KTM 690 SMC R are very high quality tires, and excellent for street riding and a bit of track riding... Click the links below... There are other excellent tire choices for the KTM 690 SMCR Supermoto, and which ones you go with really depends on the type of riding you do, and how much you use the bike for street riding versus track or even mild off-road riding. Here are a few of our favorites... If you want a proven super grippy tire for the street or kart track, try the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT ... Another super grippy tire for the street or kart track, is the Continental ContiAttack SM... The Dunlop Mutant Tires contain a blend of elements taken from sports bikes, supermotos, cruisers and ADV bikes for a do-it-all tire designed for today's market of "mutant" crossover bikes. The Mutant provides the rider with handling and stability you'd expect from a hyper sport tire, with the durability you'd usually find in touring tires... If you want a tire for pretty much 100% street riding, the Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 is another good choice. The Battlax Adventure A41 Tires were designed with the current crop of high-displacement, high-horsepower ADV bikes in mind. A huge emphasis was put on improving rider confidence and wet weather handling. The sea/land ratio at the shoulders of both the front and rear hoops has been increased to facilitate faster water evacuation and a larger tread block has been used at the center in the rear to increase tire life and high speed stability. Both tires are of the dual compound variety, meaning you get extra grip where you need it and extra mileage where you don't. Click the links below... Avon TrailRider Tires (90% street / 10% off-road) If you want a 90/10 street/dirt supermoto tire, we have had great luck with the Avon TrailRiders, and used them on a few of our SM project bikes... Shinko 705 Tires (80% street / 20% off-road) If you want an 80% street and 20% trail tire, we really like the Shinko 705. We've used these on a few supermoto's, but they also have sizes that will fit some dual sport and adventure bike 21" front and 18" rear setups. Not only do these tires allow for some mild mannered off-road riding, but the versatile tread pattern offers excellent wet and dry weather adhesion and smooth running on the highway.
