This is a general guide to installing our Integrated Mirror Kit to handguards like the Zeta Armor and Zeta PRO Armor, which are available at the following links...

We've used these mirrors on various bikes like the Yamaha WR250R, Honda CRF300L, Honda CRF450RL, KTM 690, Ducati Hypermotard 698, and several other dual sports and supermotos.
MOUNTING THE MIRRORS:
1. These integrated handguard mirrors are side specific, so install them as shown in photos above
2. To mount the mirrors to the handguards, use the black mounting hardware that comes with the mirrors. This hardware will replace the silver allen head screws used to attach the Zeta plastic protectors to the aluminum handguard frame. The mirror hardware will be used to attach the Zeta protectors to the handguards, and it also attaches the mirror to the inside of the handguard frame.
3. Mounting the mirrors to the threaded outer handgaurd holes can be a little tricky, you almost need 3 hands. Easiest way we've found is to first thread the long screw through the front of the handguard until it's almost all the way in, then on the backside, mount the mirror to it, then thread on the locking nut. Once you have those in place, begin tightening everything but you will have to hold the mirror down and in place otherwise it tries to move when you are tightening the allen screw and nut. Once you get everything tight, the mirror will stay in place.
ALTERNATE MOUNTING METHOD:
We’ve had a few customers that, instead of mounting the mirrors to the pre-threaded holes in the aluminum handguard frame, they will drill a hole in the plastic protector a bit further out towards the ends of the protectors and mount the mirrors there. This would provide better visibility behind you since the mirrors are out further towards the sides of the handguard.
ADJUSTING THE MIRRORS:
Once the mirrors are installed, you need to adjust them for optimal visibility. The round mirrors themselves are adjustable. To do so, simply rotate the round mirrors clockwise and counter-clockwise to adjust the angle of each mirror. Sit on the bike with gear on, and adjust the mirrors to your liking so that you can see to your sides and towards the rear of the bike. The trickiest part with these mirrors is adjusting them in a way that you can see directly behind you. One trick is to adjust the mirrors so that you can see the edges of your glove and elbow in the inward part of the mirror, then to see what is directly behind you just lift your left hand slightly to see under it or squeeze your elbow in slightly to see around it. When stopped at lights or stop signs, just turn your bars slightly to the left to see behind you easier.
INSTALLING MIRROR HOLE PLUGS:
If your Integrated Mirror Kit came with anodized mirror hole plugs, you will install those in the threaded holes left when you removed your bikes stock mirrors. Simply thread the anodized plugs into those holes and hand tighten. Some bikes, like the Ducati Hypermotard 698, have a reverse thread on the right/brake side, so be aware of that.
Note: Because of their size and placement, these mirrors do no offer the best visibility of what is directly behind you. If you end up wanting better visibility, we do sell a few other mirrors that offer a little better overall visibility. See our Dual Sport, Adventure Bike and Supermoto Mirror Guide for more info.
