After researching a few options, we decided to go with the New Rage Cycles (NRC) Fender Eliminator Kit on our Z900RS Cafe Project Bike. We've used their kits on several of our project bikes over the years, and have always liked the quality and plug-n-play installation. Their kit for the Z900RS re-uses the stock tail light, but provides LED turn signals that mount just to the side and underneath the tail light, and then there is a license plate mount (either standard position or tucked position) and an LED license plate light. Installation... The kit is very easy to install, took me about a half hour or so. It's completely plug-n-play, and re-uses the stock tail light/brake light, so you're just replacing the license plate hanger, license plate light, and rear turn signals, which are all LED. Connector plugs for the turn signals and license plate light make it super simple and no cutting, splicing, etc is required. The New Rage Cycles ( NRC) fender eliminator / tail tidy retains the Z900RS OEM tail light / brake light, but replaces the stock license plate/turn signal mount that hangs down off the rear fender, replacing that with a much nicer looking piece that holds your license plate. Also included with the kit is an LED license plate light. The kit also includes LED tun signals that tuck up under and to the side of the rear fender. Fitment on the bike is excellent, and it looks so much better than the stock license plate mount and factory turn signals. NRC did a great job with the design of this kit, the way their LED turn signals hug the very edge of the rear fender. I think this will be the go-to fender eliminator / tail tidy for the 2018+ Kawasaki Z900RS / Cafe. Video Overview...
