    Built from perfectly welded, high-grade stainless-steel tubes, these headers convert the Akrapovic Slip-On Muffler to a full exhaust system, and they can also be used with the bikes stock muffler if you want to replace the header for slightly more aggressive sound and a bit better performance. They give the bike a true sporty and deep sound, and increase power and torque levels throughout the entire rev range. We are using this Akra header, along with their titanium muffler, to make a full exhaust system on our Z900RS Cafe Project Bike - Build #1. The exhaust sounds excellent... nice deep sound that is louder than stock, especially at speed, but is not obnoxiously loud like some exhausts can be. My main complaint about the stock exhaust was that it was too quiet at speed and couldn't be heard above the wind noise. That's not the case now and we can hear that sweet sounding engine.... but again, it's not annoyingly loud.
