There are other excellent tire choices for the Tenere 700, and which ones you go with really depends on the type of riding you do, and how much you use the bike for street riding versus off-road riding. Here are a few of our favorites...

    10% STREET / 90% OFF-ROAD

    Dunlop D606 with Dunlop D908RR (10% street / 90% off-road)
If you're using your Tenere 700 for predominantly off-road riding, like maybe 90% off-road and 10% street, a popular choice is to run a Dunlop D606 in the front and a Dunlop D908RR Rally Raid in the rear. This setup works great off-road and the bike will rip through most types of terrain with relative ease. On the street, however, they won't be so great and will wear faster than more ADV-oriented tires.

  • Front Tire: Dunlop D606 (size 90/90-21) from Revzilla

  • Rear Tire: Dunlop D908RR (size 150/70-18) from Revzilla

    20% STREET / 80% OFF-ROAD

    Motoz Tractionator RallZ Tires (20% street / 80% off-road)
If you want an 80/20 (80% off road / 20% street) tire aimed at off-road riding with a bit of street mixed in, the Motoz RallZ has become very popular in the ADV world. These tires are based on Motoz's popular Tractionator Adventure tire, but with more aggressive off-road traction for all weather extremes. These tires provide Off-road performance with reasonable on-road manners. Designed in Australia for dependable performance in a wide variety of conditions without the need to change tyre pressures between off road and on road.

Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 Tires (Street Tires)
If you want a tire for pretty much 100% street riding, the Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 is a good choice. The Battlax Adventure A41 Tires were designed with the current crop of high-displacement, high-horsepower ADV bikes in mind. A huge emphasis was put on improving rider confidence and wet weather handling. The sea/land ratio at the shoulders of both the front and rear hoops has been increased to facilitate faster water evacuation and a larger tread block has been used at the center in the rear to increase tire life and high speed stability. Both tires are of the dual compound variety, meaning you get extra grip where you need it and extra mileage where you don't.
