Manufactured using high quality carbon fibre, these mufflers enhance the agility of the italian Supermotard thanks to a sensible weight reduction, while upgrading the performance of the engine by a maximum 2.5 hp at 9700 rpm and 2.0 Nm of torque at 9700 rpm, together with a stable improvement of power and torque delivery in the low and mid range. The research for perfection for this exhaust has been completed with SC-Project typical signature: the sound. The voice of the single cylinder engine will be emphasised by dark and growly tones in full compliance with Euro 5+ regulation. The elegance of the SC1-S muffler body combined with the sporty design and asymmetric rhomboidal shape of the end cap, is an outstanding balance in terms of design and dimensions. The kit includes two carbon fibre heat shields (for left and right side), designed to be perfectly integrated with the tail of the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono. The silencer’s body is enriched by an exclusive aluminium plate with SC-Project logo, just like the exhaust systems of SC-Project Reparto Corse. Installation is 100% plug and play and ECU remapping is not necessary. Demo Video (from SC Project's YouTube Channel):  We've tested this product on our Ducati Hypermotard 698 Project Bike. FIT AND FINISH: Fitment of this SC Project slip-on on the bike is excellent, and installation was very quick and simple. The mufflers are tucked in moreso than the stock mufflers, and they will fit fine with the stock tail and license plate mount, but if you've installed an NRC Fender Eliminator like we did, the fit is very tight between the mufflers and license plate. We actually had to put a slight bend to the license plate mount on the NRC kit to get it to clear the SC Project mufflers. SOUND: If you're looking for a stealthy exhaust that's on the quieter side, this is definitely one to consider. I'm not a fan of really loud exhausts, and the Hyper 698 seems to be a loud bike with the various aftermarket exhaust we've tried. I wanted something that looked nice, and was slightly louder than the stock exhaust, with a better sound. IMHO, SC Project nailed it with this SC1-S Carbon slip-on if that's what you're looking for. It's slightly louder than the stock exhaust, and has a much nicer and more aggressive sound to it. For me, this is probably my favorite exhaust I've tried on the bike so far. It's not going to produce as much power as the more open exhaust systems, but for me, this bike makes plenty of power as is, so I'm more concerned about the sound and look of the exhaust than its power potential. ** PRE-ORDER - These exhaust systems are made in Italy and typically ship in 3-5 Weeks.
