The package includes a full MRD Z-Pro Exhaust system, and you can optionally add on a muffler quiet insert or spark arrestor, header heat shield clamps, a jet kit, fuel screw, or air filter. MRD Z-Pro pipes (formerly known as the SSW-MRD) are hand built from 18 gauge 304 SS and 6061 aluminum, and tig welded by owner Dave Harryman. These are not over priced, stamped out, mass produced pipes, they have a high quality hand fabricated look. MRD builds their pipes from stainless steel because it is the best material for exhaust systems, SS holds more heat in for better exhaust velocity, SS does not dent as easily as TI and does not require loose spring mounting to keep it from breaking. Their pipes have superior dimensions and flow better than stock - resulting in noticeable power gains. Endcaps are bolted for easy removal when changing inserts or repacking The MRD Z-PRO mod pipe was developed to support a fully modified DRZ400 engine and develops maximum horsepower.
