   Looking to lower the seat height on your Honda CRF300L or CRF300L Rally? Kouba offers a lowering link kit that will lower your seat height roughly 1.75" to help get that seat height down to a manageable level. This is the only CRF lowering link we've seen with a grease zerk fitting, which allows you to maintain the link bearings without having to take the bike apart! Links are anodized in red or black, and come with installation instructions. NOTE ON LOWERING THE CRF300L/RALLY: The Kouba Link is actually slightly longer than the stock link it replaces, which is what lowers the rear of the bike. The longer link will make the already-soft stock CRF300L rear suspension even softer. Most riders who need a lowering link are lighter weight, so the softer suspension might actually be OK. However, if you are heavier and/or riding aggressively, the softer rear suspension won't be ideal. In those cases, Kouba recommends approximately a 10-15% increase in spring rate with the link installed. So, for heavier and/or more aggressive off-road riders, replacing the rear shock spring, entire rear shock, or upgrading the front/rear suspension all-together might be beneficial.
