JD Jetting's Power Surge 6X EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) controller for the Honda CRF250L and CRF250L Rally is highly recommend any time you want to improve the ride-ability of your stock CRF250L, or whenever you install an aftermarket exhaust and/or air filter. This is a must-have mod for these bikes and will make them run much better.

Benefits on a Stock Honda CRF250L:
If your keeping your engine stock, a JD Jetting EFI controller is one of the best bang-for-the-buck mods. The CRF250L runs lean with the factory fuel map and really falls on its face in the low to mid range when you hammer the throttle. A Fuel Injection Controller will adjust the fuel mapping, making the bike run better, helping eliminate that dead spot early in the powerband.

Benefits on a Stage 1 Honda CRF250L:
If you've decided to add an aftermarket exhaust and/or intake system (Stage 1 mods) to your CRF250L, a JD Jetting EFI Controller is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you want to take full advantage of those performance parts. Aftermarket intakes/air filters give your engine more air, and exhaust systems allow it to breath better. Without an EFI Controller, the bike will run lean and you may experience pinging or backfiring, and the bike may run hot. Additionally, without the proper fueling that an EFI Controller provides, you will see little to no performance gains from your new exhaust system and, in fact, your bike may run poorly.
