Headlight: Both models feature an LED headlight, but the Z900RS Cafe has a front cowl surrounding the headlight and display. Handlebars: The standard Z900RS has a chromed upright handlebar, whereas the Z900RS Cafe has lower and more swept-back handlebar in black, giving the Cafe model a slightly more aggressive riding position, although it's generally not thought to be too stretched out for most riders. Seat: The bikes have a similarly styled seat, but Z900RS Cafe gets one with a deeper dish and a pronounced passenger hump for a more cafe look. Wheels: The early Z900RS models had wheels with a machined silver finish that was supposed to give the wheels a spoked look. Later Z900RS models switched to all black wheels around the 2024 model year. The Z900RS Cafe model has black wheels, usually with a body color decal along the outer edge. Exhaust: Both bikes feature a 4-into-one exhaust, the standard Z900RS has chrome muffler and heat shield, whereas the Z900RS Cafe has a brushed aluminum muffler and heat shield. Pricing: Generally the Z900RS Cafe was a few hundred dollars more than the standard Z900RS. In 2018 for example, the standard Z900RS was $10,999 in Metallic Flat Spark Black and $11,199 in Candytone Brown/Candytone Orange. The Z900RS Cafe model was $11,499.
