On our Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe Project Bike we had installed the New Rage Cycles (NRC) Fender Eliminator Kit and were very pleased with it. For our new Kawasaki Z900RS Project Bike, we wanted to try something different that utilizes the stock turn signals at first, and then allows us to switch to aftermarket LED's later. So, we've gone with the Evotech Fender Eliminator kit on this bike. We've used Evotech products on many of our project bikes, and have always been very happy with them. Installation... The kit is very easy to install, took me roughly 45 minutes to an hour. It's completely plug-n-play, and re-uses the stock tail light/brake light, so you're just replacing the license plate hanger, license plate light, and re-mounting your stock rear turn signals. Connector plugs for the license plate light make it super simple and no cutting, splicing, etc is required. Instructions are included that point you to an install video on Evotech's website at https://evotech-performance.com. Specs... Retains stock turn signal indicators and rear tail light / brake light. LED License plate light included. No modifications to your bike are required. Secured in place using existing mounting points. CNC machined from lightweight aircraft grade aluminum. Powder coated black for longevity. No modifications to the wiring are required, simply plug and play. All required mounting hardware is supplied in the kit. The Evotech Performance fender eliminator / tail tidy retains the Z900RS OEM tail light / brake light, but replaces the stock license plate/turn signal mount that hangs down off the rear fender, replacing that with a much nicer looking piece that holds your license plate. Also included with the kit is an LED license plate light, and there are integrated mounts for your stock turn signals. One thing you notice with Evotech products are that they have a very OEM look to them, almost like they came on the bike from the factory. They use very high quality materials, and the fit and finish is always excellent. Fitment on the bike is really good, and it looks so much better than the stock license plate mount. The license plate mount features Evotech's signature V-shaped backing piece that helps support the license plate. We also offer an optional black license plate frame that surrounds the outside of your plate, and helps support it further... plus it looks good! We mounted up the bike's stock turn signals to the integrated mounts, and they look great, but we'll be replacing them with LED turn signals on both front and rear of the bike at a later date, so stay tuned for that.
