And now for 2024, Yamaha has revised their 2024 Yamaha MT-09 once again with further improvements. Yoshimura's R&D team immediately went to work on the development for the new Yamaha and called on their AT2 profile to handle the power and torque of the 890cc three cylinder - torque monster engine. The AT2 is perfect styling for the MT-09 / XSR900 and incorporates their exclusive Works Finish, an aggressively styled matte finish with carbon fiber end cap, complimented by a facet-formed tip, while adding an aggressive GP tone. Right away the bike lost 6 pounds by removing the stock system and installing the AT2 Race Series full system. With plenty of torque on the bottom end we focused on bringing the power more to the top of the spectrum. After development and testing was all said and done the AT2 gave the MT-09 a nice 2.7% increase in max HP and a 1.6% in max torque.
