Our 1998 Acura Integra Type R
In the fall of 1999, I sold my Nissan 240SX track car and drove to New Jersey to buy a 1998 Acura Integra Type R. I did my first autocross shortly thereafter and was hooked.
The following year, 2000, I continued autocrossing the car in the SCCA G Stock class with the Akron Sports Car Club (ASCC) and Neohio Region of the SCCA.
In 2001 I continued to autocross the car, and also did four track days at Road Atlanta, a few driving schools at Nelson Ledges Road Course, and a Porsche Club school at Mid Ohio. In the fall of 2001, I sold the Type R to help fund a new business.
