     HANDGUARDS FOR THE 2023+ HONDA TRANSALP XL750: Since the new Honda Transalp doesn't come from the factory with any type of hand control / handlebar protection, handguards are one of the first thing new owners will add to the bike. Proper protective handguards will protect your hands and the bikes controls from trail hazards, plus they can help prevent damage if you crash or drop your bike. Another side benefit is that they offer wind protection in cooler weather. We have simplified the whole process of buying the individual parts you need for handguards, by putting together a few package deals that allow you to select everything you need. The Honda Transalp comes with stock handlebars that have threaded inserts inside the ends of the handlebars, instead of hollow ends like normal handlebars, so if you are retaining the stock handlebars you will want handguards that have the proper threaded mounts. If you've switched to aftermarket aluminum handlebars with hollow ends, you can use a more standard type of handguard with regular inserts. OUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE STOCK THREADED HANDLEBARS: OPTION 1: Honda Transalp Barkbusters Handguard Kit If you have the the stock handlebars and want a strong and durable handguard, the Barkbusters Handguard Kit (see photos above) is one way to go. These handguards have the proper threaded bar end inserts, and a U-Clamp mounting kit that clamps the in-board part of the handguard to the handlebars. They also include bar end weights, which is something unique that Barkbusters offers with their handguards! Those weights can help reduce vibration through the handlebars.
