He started modifying his Impreza shortly thereafter for the Street Trouing (STS) class. A highly talented local STS crowd helped Steve come up to speed and to date in 2002, he stands undefeated in STS in both local autocross clubs - SCCA and Crown. At the 2002 Solo II Nationals, Steve managed 5th in a field of 50 drivers, missing 4th (Richard West) by 0.001 sec for the two days. Steve also tries to spend as much time on the track as possible, primarily at Heartland Park, and just received his SCCA Novice Club Racing License.
