The EVO bar is Pro Taper’s top of the line bar without a crossbar. Oversize 1 1/8" diameter handlebars, without cross bars, were invented, and patented, by Pro Taper. This design allows the bar to flex more and absorb impacts better than other bars. This offers the rider more comfort and less fatigue without sacrificing bar strength. The EVO handlebar utilizes a computer profiled 4mm wall design and is up to 25% lighter than other bars yet up to 45% stronger. Motocross Action magazine says of the EVO bar: ”The amount of flex Pro Tapers provide takes the jolting edge off of rough tracks and lessens hand fatigue.” and Transworld Motocross magazine says: “We don’t care what kind of bike you ride, the EVO will improve the comfort.”

  • For The Yamaha WR250R/X:
    For the WR250R/X, we like the "Henry/Reed", "Windham RM Mid" and "Woods High" bends. Both of those seem to be popular with our customers. To mount these 1 1/8" bars to your WR250R/X, you'll need the Pro Taper Universal Solid Mounts or Zeta RX2 Clamp Kit.

    For The Honda CRF450L:
    For the CRF450L, we like the "CR High", and "Woods High" bends. On our personal CRF450L's we use the CR High on one bike and Woods High on the other. To mount these 1 1/8" bars to your CRF450L, you'll need either the Pro Taper Universal Rubber Handlebar Mounts (which we use on our bikes) or the Pro Taper Universal Solid Mounts.

    For The Honda CRF250L/CRF300L:
    For the CRF250L and CRF300L, we like the "CR High" and "Henry/Reed" bend. To mount these 1 1/8" bars to your CRF, you'll need the Pro Taper Universal Solid Mounts.

    If you have a steering stabilizer:
    If you've installed an under bar style Scotts or GPR steering stabilizer, and raised the handlebars with their bar mount/risers, then you might want to consider a lower bar bend like the Carmichael or Steering Damper Low bends.
