The Comfort model is just a bit over 10" wide at its widest point... The seat gets wider as you slide back for more support, and narrows as you get close to the tank. You get a seat pan with Seat Concepts seat cover and foam, fully assembled at Seat Concepts and ready to install right on your bike. All Complete Seats come with covers made of water resistant vinyl, and to protect the seat foam, a moisture barrier is installed between the cover and foam. We have this seat installed on our KTM 690 SMCR Project Bike, as shown in the photos. Cover Material: These seats are available in several combinations of materials/color. The covers with the Gripper Top are for aggressive riding if you really want to be held in place. The covers with the Semi-Grip (also called Low-Slip) top are slightly less grippy than the Gripper top, but still will hold you in place. More photos at links below... Color/Material Samples (opens in new window) Foam Density: Standard Density Foam is what we carry. This is recommended for riders weighing 165-265 lbs. (with gear on). If you are outside of that range, we recommend ordering your seat directly from Seat Concepts to get a seat foam density better suited for your weight.
