Clutch Lever Comparison
Brake Lever Comparison
The OEM levers on the Hypermotard 698 are pretty descent, although like most stock levers I think they're a bit too long. The levers are adjustable, however I couldn't quite get them adjusted in as far as I wanted before running out of adjustment. The adjustment knobs can also be a little finiky and are hard to turn. We've installed aftermarket levers from several companies on our Hyper 698 project bike, and here's a size comparison of the stock levers vs. ASV F3 Levers vs. CRG RC2 Levers.
You can't go wrong with either the ASV or CRG's. All of them offer excellent adjustability for reach so you can fine tune that to your liking. Aftermarket levers are available in different lengths... If you like a longer lever that is similar to stock, go with the ASV standard length, if you want something that is the shorter 2 finger design, go with the ASV Shorty Levers. If you want something with a length that's sort of in between the two ASV's, the CRG RC2 is available in a shorty 3 finger length that is kind of that perfect length IMHO.
