Best skid plate for the Honda CRF300L ? We think this is it. The Moose Racing PRO Skid Plate (made by AXP Racing) for the Honda CRF300L is constructed from flexible high-density Polyethylene that is 6mm thick for maximum protection. It covers the underside of the frame, and protects the engine and crankcase from potential damage. Unlike aluminum, the plastic construction absorbs impacts, does not undergo deformations, does not generate vibrations, and is 40% lighter.

The benefits of these plastic skid plates over aluminum ones? Less noise and vibration that is common when you bolt up an aluminum skid plate to the frame. The plastic skid plates vibrate less and are much quieter.

You can optionally add on a lower shock linkage guard that attaches to the back edge of the skid plate.
