Chris Hartman
Chris started autocrossing at age 16, in a 1968 Saab
Sonett V4 in ES then DSP. He then raced a 1986
Yugo GV in HS, then DSP, then OSP. He took a break
for a couple years after graduating Engineering
school, then moved back to Oregon and bought a
Subie which he started running local Oregon Region
events with.
He's been racing Mr. Subie in G Stock for two years
now. Chris ran his first national events last year,
taking 4th at the Wendover ProSolo and 2nd at the the Bremerton National Tour event. At the 2001 SCCA Solo II Nationals he raced his teammates STS prepped
Subie (for the first time) and took home a trophy for 10th place.
This year, Chris finished 1st in GS at the El Toro ProSolo, and was the top qualifier for the Super Challenge. He finished 5th at the Atwater National Tour (had a bad Saturday) and just recently won GS at the Atwater
ProSolo. He also made it to the finals of the Super
Challenge.
Chris's goal for 2002 is to go after the GS ProSolo championship and also run well at Nationals. Good luck Chris!
