Looking to increase your visibility on the road and trail? Barkbusters offers bright white LED position indicators / running lights that can be mounted to any of their Storm, VPS or JET plastic guards. These LED's are meant to be used as running lights and not turn signals/flashers. Wiring, mounting hardware, and instructions are included.

Installation on 2024+ Honda Transalp XL750:
We decided to install a set of these LED's on our Honda Transalp XL750 Project Bike, which already has Barkbusters Handguards with Storm Plastic Guards. Instructions are included with the LED's, along with templates to drill the 3 holes in each plastic guard to mount the LED's. This was a pretty simple process thanks to the thorough instructions. Next you have to find an ignition switched power source to wire the LED's to... this will vary from bike to bike, and on the Transalp we found a wired plug up under the TFT dash that is used to connect the Honda Accessory 12V Socket (Honda Part #: 08U71-MKK-D00) that installs on the left side of the dash by the TFT display. This looked like the perfect wiring to tap into that could power the LED's. One interesting thing though, this plug does not have power until you also install Honda Accessory 12V Fused Socket Harness (Honda Part #: 08E70-MLC-A00) which plugs in up under the seat. Once we installed the Accessory 12V Fused Socket Harness under the seat, we now had power, and were able to use the JOW T-Connectors included with the Barkbuster LED's to tap into the wire and get power to the LED's. There might be other wires that could be used as a power source, but this looked like the best option. It's just a shame that Honda requires you to buy that Accessory 12V Fused Socket Harness to get power to that plug under the dash.
