Even though the 2021+ models looked virtually the same as the 2018-2020, there were some differences, like a larger radiator, some ECU mapping changes, and a few other very minor things. 2026 brought the "Gen 3" with minor visual changes, but the more significant changes came with the electronics, and the addition of an IMU, quick shifter, cruise control, etc. Additionally the 2026 has a new exhaust system. Kawasaki continued to offer beautiful paint schemes that changed almost every year, and that is usually the easiest way to distinguish between model years.
