Seat Concepts has the answer with their new seat kit for the bike. To help make the seat more comfortable, they have dished out the seating pocket to address the slope into the tank. This creates a more supportive and natural shape. The stock seat pan has a pocket in it that causes a thin spot at the rear of the main seating area. With the Seat Concepts seat, you will need to cut off that pocket and install an insert that is supplied with the kit. This helps increase the foam in that area. With these changes, and an improved foam density, you'll get a much more comfortable seat for your XSR. The Yamaha factory seat cowl accessory will still fit. What You Get: The kit includes seat cover and replacement foam. It DOES NOT include the seat pan. Most people will use their stock seat pan, and install the Seat Concepts foam and seat cover on it. ** OUT OF STOCK - We no longer carry this seat, but you can still order it directly from SeatConcepts.com.
