   The mirrors that come standard on the Yamaha WR250R work OK from a functional standpoint, but are not ideal for off-road riding. In some cases they can even do damage if they were to get bent or broken in a drop or crash. Specifically, take a look at how your stock mirrors are threaded into the front clutch and brake reservoir housings. If your inflexible stock mirror were to get hit just right, it could do damage to this expensive piece the mirror is mounted to. This is where Double Take mirrors are superior to OEM mirrors, since they are designed to bend or rotate out of the way if they get hit. That might just save your expensive front brake reservoir from being damaged!
